CARBON STRUCTURAL STEELS
Carbon structural steels are unalloyed steels with carbon content ranging from 0.20% to 0.60%, used in machine and automotive spare parts manufacturing, gears, axles, shafts, bolts, and various medium-stressed machine structural components.
Their machinability is extremely high, and they show a highly suitable reaction to surface hardening (induction, carburizing) processes.
Carbon structural steels, which can be delivered as hot-rolled or cold-drawn, are one of the most fundamental industrial building blocks with their balance of strength and toughness.
